One of the highlights of our visit was an "air boat" tour of the swamps. Both beautiful and a bit eery.
Leaving Lafayette and Cajun Country, we stopped by the under-constuction Baton Rouge LDS Temple.
We got a great tour of the Bayous by a really well informed Shrimp statistician. Unfortunately, most of our pictures are just of alligators.
And we finished up with a couple days in New Orleans. Spent most of it in the French Quarter, which boasts most distinctive architecture and streets both famous and infamous.
