Old version! (running on old server)
Here are a few of my favorite recipes I might want to be able to get to on the net.
Chocolate Chip Cookies (Hillary Clinton's recipe)
Chocolate Meltaways (Susie Thogerson-Maas's recipe)
Grilled Fish with Black Bean Sauce
Kim's Kitchen Sink Salad, a bunch of my favorite salad ingredients
Mom's Waffle recipe, from Ellen
An excellent Fig and Green Tomato Salad I made for a potluck
The French Laundry's Bouchon recipe featured (more or less) as the title dish in the "animated feature" Ratatouille
A really excellent Tuna Tartare I made for an hors d'oevre and dessert party at the home of the incomparable Davies family
Delicious Pomegranate Panna Cotta I made for the same party
Chicken Tikka Masala recipe I made and really enjoyed
A Scalloped Squash Gratin from epicurious.com. (Hope it doesn't go away before I create a local copy.)
A chocolate bark recipe I found on the Web. I like replacing some of the cashews with almonds and pistachios, and using perhaps a little less apricot. Sprinkling w/ a little finishing salt is also a nice touch.
A page full of Salmon recipes I found on the Web
The only Raw Broccoli Salad recipe I've ever found that I like. Made it for dinner one night, and just had to reprise it the same week for a pot-luck poetry reading at Glenn's house. Huge hit with the poets inter alia! I varied it a bit by toasting 2 oz. hazelnuts and 1 oz. slivered almonds. Only problem is: you won't really be able to make this right unless you've got a mandolin among your kitchen tools. (Might want to go get one, the salad's that good, but use it carefully.)
Pretty dang tasty (and healthful) Kale Avocado Salad
Incredible Charred Broccoli and Carrots
Richly flavored Vegan Chili (stolen from NY Times)
A recipe, cribbed from America's Test Kitchen, for Apple Galette that I want to try making.
